Each creation is finally stamped with hallmarks
This step guarantees the authenticity and quality of the precious metal used. There are two types of hallmarks: the maker's mark, which identifies the workshop or jewelry house, and the fineness mark, which certifies the gold, silver or platinum content. This marking is compulsory above a certain weight and ensures the traceability and compliance of the jewelry with legal standards, thus offering customers a guarantee of quality and transparency.
The art of selecting the finest diamonds
This selection stage is crucial, and only the highest quality gems are selected. Since the 1940s, the Lepage family has enjoyed privileged access to the famous Antwerpen diamond exchange, an invaluable source of exceptional gems, thanks to Gaston Lepage. Mr. Jean-Pierre Lepage (fourth generation) is recognized as one of the most respected diamond merchants in France. Over the years, he has passed on his expertise and his love for this captivating and demanding profession to his son Édouard, who is now also a diamond merchant. Every week, they examine two to three hundred diamonds one by one to ensure that they meet strict criteria for color, size, weight and purity. In order to minimize our impact on the planet and guarantee the most environmentally friendly production possible, we carefully evaluate each stage of our manufacturing process. The majority of our jewelry is made from upcycled gold, which, unlike recycled gold that can come from anonymous industrial sources, is directly recovered from our customers through gold buying. This short circuit process significantly reduces our ecological footprint while valuing existing resources.
Furthermore, all the players in our production chain are certified by the Responsible Jewellery Council (RJC). This certification ensures that our practices meet the strictest standards of ethics, transparency and social responsibility.
